I am a contemporary theatre & performance-maker originally from Co. Laois but based in Dublin. I make projects for theatres and offsite venues. These have included black boxes, abandoned commercial units, community centres, psychiatric institutions and a decrepit Georgian mansion.

 

I've developed projects with dancers, culinary artists, composers, visual artists, opera singers, older people and children.

 

I often work with real people, stories and events as the core impulse for a project.

I also work as a facilitator, providing creative activities for many communities and groups.

​

I am invested in being active in my own communities. I was Vice-Chair of the Board of Dunamaise Arts Centre for 5 years. In 2018/19 I facilitated a year long programme for both Laois Youth Theatre & Mountrath Youth Theatre. Last year I worked with families in Abbeyleix Direct Provision Centre, developing and exchanging creative actives for their community.

I am a Project Artist, this is a mentorship and support initiative of Project Arts Centre. 

​

I am also an independent artist with field:arts; a cohort of Artists and Creative Producers, supported by the Arts Council.

​

This year I am taking part in the Clore Leadership Programme as a 23/24 fellow.
